UNPLUG IN DOWN EAST, MAINE
THE NEXT UNPLUGGED CREW LAUNCHES
JULY 2024
7/12 - 7/25

I see, first hand, how living and working in Silicon Valley overwhelms families due to its fast-paced, stressful, intense lifestyle. During our technological revolution, we seem tethered to our devices 24/7! Our family dynamics and our face to face relationships are definitely impacted with increased tech addiction flourishing on all fronts. Our stress and anxiety is sky high and we are simply running around with overstimulated nervous systems, easily exhausted, and overwhelmed. The good news is that there are solutions for tech addiction and its effects on us. Let’s start by ditching our devices for a period of time to reset and refresh our systems!  Come with us to Unplug in Down East Maine for two weeks in Summer 2024!

Creating a truly unplugged space where we cook together, laugh together, hike trails, connect to nature, make art, and engage in intentional discussions is the experience of Down East Maine Unplugged Retreats. A digital detox with me and our team includes lots of time to have FUN, to rest, and relax. We provide and ensure that critical space, that precious time, for these essential experiences. Once you come to feel the grounding and calming effect of ditching your tech, if just for a little while, your system will thank you and you'll go back to your life transformed and able to maintain your poise and a healthier relationship to tech.

As a teen, I once lived in Pembroke, not far from Eastport, Maine. Decades later, I went back to this stunning remote coastline of Down East, Maine to reconnected with the extraordinary community. I fell in love with Eastport and surrounding area all over again like finding an old friend. It was magical and profound. Inspired to create an Unplugged Retreat experience for teens and parents, I got right to work. Over the past few years, Unplugged Crews from Silicon Valley have ventured to Down East to experience the benefits of connecting to nature and engaging with the welcoming and vibrant Down East community. This remarkable place and unique program provides abundant opportunities for a transformative life change.

Down East, Maine is the perfect fit for unplugging in a rural yet rich community full of heart while immersed in breathtaking nature.  Everyone who Unplugs in this magical spot of Down East gets hooked.
